You can delete your MYOLFT account and its data at any time, in the app or by email. Email works without the app installed.
Subscribed to MYOLFT PRO? Cancel it first. Deleting your account does not stop Google or Apple billing you. Cancel in Google Play or the App Store.
In the app
- Open MYOLFT and go to Profile.
- Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE (plus your password, if you signed up with one), tap Permanently delete account and confirm.
By email
Email us from the address you sign in with, with the subject Delete my account.
Email a deletion requestWe reply to confirm and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Can't email from that address, for example because you used Apple's Hide My Email? Write to hello@myolft.com from any address and tell us which email the account uses. We confirm the request by writing to that address before we delete anything.
What gets deleted
Everything tied to your account is removed from our servers in one step:
- Your account: name, email address, sign-in details, and the link to Google or Apple sign-in.
- Your training: workouts, sets, reps, weights, effort ratings, personal records, training plans, scheduled sessions, and readiness check-ins.
- Your body data: body weight, body measurements, and any joint or movement restrictions you recorded.
- Your settings: units, theme, rest-timer defaults, and other preferences.
Deleting in the app also clears the copy stored on your phone. If you delete by email, uninstall the app to remove that copy.
What is kept, and for how long
- Backups, up to 90 days. Our database is copied into encrypted backups so it can be recovered after a failure. Each backup is deleted automatically within 90 days, so a copy of your data can remain in one until then.
- Purchase records. If you subscribed, Google or Apple keep their own record of the purchase under their policies. RevenueCat, which manages subscriptions for us, keeps the purchase history under a random account number, without your name or email. Ask us and we will have it deleted too.
- Diagnostics. Usage analytics and crash reports in Google Firebase carry the same random account number, not your name or email, and are deleted automatically under Firebase's standard retention periods.
Waitlist
If you joined the waitlist on this website, that email address is stored separately from your app account. Ask us at hello@myolft.com and we will remove it.
